With “10 Years Since the End of the World” we feel that a new chapter is beginning for GLOBAL DISCONTENT. We’ve spent more than a decade shouting our dissatisfaction from the stage, and this album captures everything we are today: our evolution, our scars, and the same rage that made us form the band in 2012.
In these songs you’ll find sharp riffs, choruses born to be sung collectively, and lyrics that speak about what matters to us: struggle, resistance, and the need to not stay silent. We wanted to create an album that isn’t just heard, but lived. For us, punk has always been that: community, shared energy, a space where every voice counts.
This LP is also a tribute to the years we’ve traveled, to those who were there from the beginning, and to those joining us now. Each track is meant to sound loud, to come alive on stage, and to remind us that music is still a powerful weapon against apathy.
“10 Years Since the End of the World” is, ultimately, our way of saying that we’re still here—stronger, more united, and with the same desire to make the stages shake.
